Mutariko Sounds Of Joy

The whole flight to the South Africa was a disaster - I know that some people are narrow minded, but I got upset because the airplane staff treated me like a child just because I'm in a wheelchair. I was in a bad mood all morning, and even sarcastically told the tour guide that I'm not on one of those dating for handicapped tours but that I'm here because of the Mutariko cultural project and that I'm a participant, an expert on South African dances.

The moment I told that, I knew that I was too bitter (the flight incident was still bugging me) and apologized. The bus driver helped me inside and I was quiet during the ride.

The tour guide (actually a very good looking girl) was glancing me from time to time with a quizzical look on her face. I finally mustered a few words, apologizing again for my previous behavior.

'Have you really been on the dating for handicapped tours?' she finally asked me. I laughed and explained that it was just something I made up in a fit of rage. She smiled, relaxed, and asked me to listen to Mutariko project's music and dances together that evening.
